
Langhans Gallery Prague is presenting an exhibition of artist and curator Dušan Šimánek’s distinctive view of Czech photographic non-figural artwork from 1970 to 1989. His selection focuses on direct, unmodified photographs. The exhibition and the accompanying publication present sixteen artists including: Josef Sudek, Jan Svoboda, Bohdan Holomíček, Marie Kratochvílová, Miroslav Machotka, Jiří Poláček, Vratislav Hůrka, Jaroslav Bárta, Bořivoj Hořínek, Dušan Šimánek, Iren Stehli, Dana Horníčková, Ivan Lutterer, Štěpán Grygar, Lukáš Jasanský and Martin Polák.
The exhibition was organized with the support of Prague City Hall and the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic.
